After a print fail I noticed a small hole on the middle on the underside of the bed, I am wondering if this is normal or wether a hole was burned trough the cork

This is where the thermistor is located...
I think the thermistor is not flat and integrated in the bed but protruding a little...

Burnt cork looks different, well, burnt... Thermally, this small hole should be no reason to worry either.

Yeah I think some glue or filling paste came off when the hotend crashed into the bed
