I am a little confused with how we are supposed to assemble the thermistor in the e3d v6 kit, can anyone provide me some clarity? My e3d v5, the build instructions and youtube had me assuming that I would receive a red and black wire which I would loop over the thermistor wire and then crimp with a ferrule. However the only wire I received was a thick black and black/white striped wire which is way too big to fit through the ferrule: http://i.imgur.com/CkABAkA.jpg Are the build instructions changed, or am I doing something wrong? I brought two e3d-v6 kits, one of them was missing the thermistor entirely - so maybe I have been sent the wrong stuff?
This was solved over on Reddit - he bought it from E3D, they just have a bit thicker wires now that are too big to hook and still fit in the ferrules. Just slide into the ferrules and crimp.
