Hi all, I've got a Makibox printer with a e3d v6 lite hotend. I have a pane of glass on the heated bed and covered the glass with kapton tape. I have wiped it a few times with Nail Polish remover (Acetone) to make the print jobs stick better. After the printjob is finished, I find it very hard to remove the main structures from the bed, even after allowing the bed to cool to room temperature. Does anybody have any tips, as I don't want to damage the finished printjob. It's ok if I damage the kapton tape, because it can be easily replaced, but would prefer not to. Thanks and M107
I dont use tape on my glass. I use hair spray, any extra hold works well. I print with a brim. They self release at about 45C. I can easily pry them off < 55C.
