There's a picture in reprap magazine of an i3 single sheet frame with vertical X carriage. The review is by richrap, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the model?

I also need some way of mounting the extruder, so I'd love to hear what others are using.

By vertical X carriage I mean the smooth rods are one above the other with the carriage stuck on the front.

    Thanks
    Ian

Ah sorry, my bad, I meant the stl for the X carriage, rather than the whole printer :) I've found one on Thingiverse, but it is different to the one RichRap used, I'm also still a bit baffled about how the extruders attach to the top of the printer :)

On page 67 he breaks out the parts needed to print. It looks like the X carriage is comprised of two parts, the x carriage and the
extruder Boddy. (He actually spells it that way)

The files can be found at https://github.com/josefprusa/Prusa3

I hope I have been of some help, the extruder mounting at the top will depend on the extruder used and will probably require a little ingenuity to mount them.
