    hey guys
i wonder if there is particular reason for installing the heater block while both thermistor and heater cartridge screws are on the same side as the nozzle .
i think its better to install the heater block upside down , so the grub screw and the heater cartridge screw is on top .this way they wont be dirty from filament sticking to them .

is there any issue doing so ?

    thanks

I guess it depends on your printer and if you want to remove the heater or thermistor in-situ (I had better look at mine to see where the screws are) .

    If this is a BigBox...

With both sets of wires going in from the front (difficult if not impossible for them to be fitted at the back) then the screws are accessible from below.

If the screws are at the top removal would be impossible, meaning changing either would mean removal of the whole assembly i.e. heat sink etc. including removing filament.

Also would depend on if the heat break thread and the nozzle thread are the same......... another trip to find my spares to have a look.
