I ordered two hot-ends and one or two other things on Sunday. The order still shows as pending and I've not received any response after emailing E3D earlier this week. Is everything OK over there? Thanks
I can not speak for E3D but please be aware that last weekend they launched the V6 hotend and Monday was a holiday. They're probably overwhelmed with a high volume of orders. This is an email I received late on Monday:
Hi Guys, Sorry not to get back to you sooner Pieter - it has been absolute madness here! There are currently a whole bunch of orders that are "Processing" meaning that they are being packed at the moment. Due to high volumes and lack of v6 stock there has been a bit of a delay, but 90% of these will go out today. Orders currently "Pending" have been held in that state for a couple of days to make sure that we get as many "Processing" orders out the door first to ensure that things work on a first-come-first-served basis. We are getting on top of the situation now and expect 50% of the "Pending" orders to go out today. Thanks for your patience everyone, it has been all-hands-on-deck here! Cheers, Josh
Everything is okay, the transition to V6 has everyone so busy that is what is causing the slow responses. I know that is not a good answer but it is a truthful one. I do not work for them so don't start on me.
Hi support, i ordered mine on 24/05/2014 and still "Pending" and no response from support, it was my birthday present for tomorrow but no luck, too bad.. :? here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=160#p1119 warrmr ordered on 30/05 and its already processing, whats wrong with mine?
I am not E3D support, but keep in mind there are 4 variants. It is possible warrmr ordered a different variant than you, which had not run out. E3D is trying very hard to get hotends out as fast as possible, they're at the mercy of their machinists which are working overtime to keep up with demand. Patience!
Mine was the 1.75mm universal version, was on a 7 day lead Monday so waited until they were back in stock and placed my order Friday and was shipped yesterday.
