Yes 3DMakerWorld is an authorized retailer, but it is $6 cheaper through my store if you use coupon code 'reprap'. http://www.filastruder.com/products/all-metal-e3d-v6-hotend
Thanks since I may have your attention, just curious if you start off with white or clear raw material for the filastruder can you die it or add color some other way to get custom colored filiment?
Yes, you add colored pellets called masterbatch. You can do it in a gradient or a solid color. Here's some examples: http://www.filastruder.com/pages/testimonials http://www.soliforum.com/topic/2123/colorants-masterbatch/
Turned out to be 4 dollars not 6 lol, didn't realize you had so much E3D stuff for sale will be able to avoid some of the international shipping charges now.
It would be great if you could also carry their more exotic filaments (like their PVA and edge) so the shipping costs would be way less... [edit: crazy autocorrect are->be)
Yes, I'm in talks with E3D about shipping things by freight like filament, but they're a bit busy with some BigBox or something.
Not sure what you mean? Direct: $74.99 - 5% coupon code + $3 shipping = $74.24 Bowden: $79.99 - 5% coupon code + $3 shipping = $78.99 On Amazon, those hotends are $79.95 and $89.90 respectively so that's a savings of $5.71 or $10.91.
Ah I see what you mean, I was just teasing though, I already ordered so dont worry When I used the coupon it was a 4 dollar discount is all I ment I didn't recompair the fianl prices to the other seller.
And hey, if you can actually become a vendor for the BigBox here in the US that would be great. If the 2 grants I have out come in I will be purchasing 1 or 2 for my lab and it is way, way easier to use a US based vendor for a federal grant and the hospital gets tweaky when they have to do international stuff (because of currency exchange rates between invoicing and payment dates).
