Hello everyone, long time no see!

New job recently has cut down on my printing time, disaster.....

I've picked up an intermittent error on the LCD card reader. Sometimes it says there's no card, sometimes it says card inserted but not 'Print from SD card'. Sometimes it works OK but then the display corrupts when I look at the card contents. Some cards seem more reliable than others too, proper SDs seem better than micros in an adapter.

Anyone have any information on what the screen is? Looks like E3D don't have them in at the moment.

I've tried the usual, take out and blow into the slot method but I suspect it's a bad contact somewhere or over time a connection has cracked.

    So, a new screen?

(I realise a full Duet upgrade is nice but it's pretty pricey and I'd need the printer running as is to make an enlosure etc.)

    Thanks all, and happy printing!

Could just be the cable connections. Remove, replace can be enough to renew the connections. Certainly worth a punt to start you off.

Well, in the end I bought a new screen. Cables/plugs were fine, similar issues after re-seating them.

    Everything back up and running.

    Cheers

I’m sorry, I’m confused, I have the same issues, did the new screen fix it or not?
    Thanks.
