LEDs around the Pi camera

    Has anyone thought about placing the LEDs on the arm that holds the camera? I would think that it could optimally illuminate the object being printed, especially since the most important part that we would want to see is in the upper area anyway where the printer is doing it's job.

    I will. I think next week I could squeeze in some time to modify the existing Pi cam holder and try it out.

    I put once the led module used in car directional lights. They give lot of light but flooded the pi camera (and got so warm they softened the plastic!)
