I've had a problem with my heatbreak getting loose in my heatsink over time which then causes it to wobble around and produce bad prints. I think this occurs after when changing tips. A dab of loctite on the heatsink side of the heatbreak would probably help resolve this problem. Is there any reason not to do this? If not, I'd recommend adding this step to the assembly instructions. Note that my experiences are with the v5. I'm just now assemblying my v6 but do not see any changes that would help this problem. Thanks! Ian
If you put the replacement nozzle in at a higher temperature than you are printing and tighten it then the problem shouldn't happen.
Ralph, he's talking about break in the sink, not break in the block. I don't see why loctite would be a problem there, so long as it was a small dab.
