Has anyone else tried to mount the M2.5 microbarbs for the Raspberry Pi and found the laser cut holes are to big to fit the microbarbs in?

I've not mounted my Pi yet but have you tried pulling them in place using a screw and a standoff?

Getting them in is no problem, getting them to stay however is. The holes cut in the frame are too big and the barbs have nothing to grab onto. I posted on G+ as well and so far the common answer is to glue them in.

I'll be interested in how you did it and the results. I ordered the pi for my dual.

I don't remember any issues with mine, or maybe I just stuck them on and put screw in too fast to notice they were loose.

mine fit OK. They do fall out easily until there is a screw in place.

They didn't fit as well as the other. I suggested to them to shrink the size a bit but of course all the current orders have already been cut.

I just held them in place while tightening.

Having broken the holes with the 3mm Microbarbs (Doh) I glued the 2.5 in using superglue. Thread a set screw into the barb then put a little glue round the hole before using the set screw as a handle to put the barb in place, this avoids getting glue on your finger and the weight of the screw helps hold the barb in place. Wait 3mS for the glue to set and remove the set screw (also found with the barb in bag 4).
