I am setting up a titan aero with a .8mm nozzle on a large format machine. I can get it to extrude at 5mm/sec fine. Trying it at 15mm/s starts to grind the filament at low tension and skip steps at high tension. What feedrate should I be expecting?

What motor are you using? Did you tune your stepper drivers? We manage to extrude above 5mm/s with a 0.4mm nozzle (1.75mm filament), so you should be able to push this higher but not too much, as you are melt rate limited.

This motor has an extremely low torque. It is more than half the torque of our slimline motor, which is the minimum size we recommend for Titan. Try with a larger motor, all your problems should go away.
