I am getting parts together to build a Prusa Wilson TS. I would like to use an E3D-v6 in 1.75 mm. Because I am new to these printers, I have some basic questions. Do I need an mounting adapter to attach the hot end to the extruder? WIll the stock extruder work with a 1.75 mm E3D ? I also wanted to switch out the geared extruder for a direct drive extruder (e.g an EZStruder). Would I need to get an additional mount to attach the cold end to the chassis ? I am worried about potential warping of the cold end. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
