Day 1 I only had a few hours today. But some parts are ready. Including all nuts glued to The nuttraps.
See those Y rod ends, the ones with the large square nut in them? Be extra definitely sure the nuts are in tight and secure. Because if they fall over after the rod ends go in the lamentation will be of biblical proportions. Trust me on this.
1000 times this. This has been (so far anyway) the worst part - when it comes to tighten up the screws on these parts and you find that the screws just turn and turn and never tighten! So many swear words
I'm sure other posts on this but you may not need all the traps with nuts in as there are some spare and you will be short of the square nuts. See the post on printing clips to hold the nut traps in place..especially good for inside the base where you will never see them again and you don't want sticky tape coming loose.
Looking good, though your photos have just made me realise that my knob doesn't have the centre cap, I think I'll print one.
And the fun part is started . I tried to print included benchy file. But I get thermal runaway all the time as soon as fans kick up to 100%. I tried to adjust fanhight as low as posible. But it doesn't help. Any ideas on what to do? Greg? I also noticed that it's imposible to tune fanspeed on the fly tru LCD panel. It just adjust flowrate even if I choose fanspeed.
What do you mean? You absolutely should be able to change fan speeds in the middle of a print (of course if the print has a lot of fan speed changes in the G-code it will override your manual setting as soon as it hits those...
When I'm printing and choose Tune>Fan speed It just say "Flow" and change Flow setting. Only way for me to do this is to go to Controle>Temperature>Fan speed and change it there.
