SOLVED No Extruder control from panel

    No Extruder control from panel. Shouldn't I be able to control the extruders from the smart control panel.
    I cannot. I go through the menu the same as I would to move the x, y or z, but I select extruder1 or 2 and neither move when I turn the dial. I tried attaching a stepper directly and it did not move either.
    This is my last step before sending a print.

    Are they hot? The extruder won't run unless the hot end is heated up.

    No. They are cold, I did not have any filament in them yet so I figured I could feed the line from the Titan bowden to the hot end.
    They have to be hot? How hot before they are enabled?

    Yes they have to be hot, 170° is the threshold.

    You can send M302 to the machine to activate cold extrusions...
