    Hi, folks.

I just got my new E3D hot-end, and seem to be having some oozing from the top of the nozzle during printing.

I tightened the nozzle up to the connecting rod (not up to the heater-block) and it seemed pretty tight - the instructions say not to over-tighten. Is it simply not tight enough?

Did you heat it up during the tightening process?

To get a good seal you will need to get the HotEnd up to 300deg which will cause the aluminium to expand and allow you to get those last few degrees out of the nozzle..

Let me know how you get on..
