    Hello everybody.

I've got my toolchanger up and running pretty well now but the fan 4 (T1) output on my Duex5 is dead.
The fan wiring is good. Ive tried swapping the T1 fan to fan 6 on the Duex5 and it runs fine.

Can I readdress the T1 fan to fan 0 on the Duet2?

    Thanks for your advice.

I believe you should be able to use fan 0 by redefining it in the config. Take a look at this thread for updated fan config as well.
I think it should just be:

    M563 P1 S"T1" D1 H2 F0

Though I would ask about a replacement if something is already dead on the board.

    Thanks Krayn.
I readdressed P4 to P0 in tfree1.g and tpost1.g and its working now.
This is the edit to tfree1.g:
    ;fan off
    M106 P0 S0 ;used to be P4 on doa duex5

I sent a RMA request to Filastruder (where I ordered the Duex from) we'll see what they say.

    Thanks again for your help.

hey @tr1gger88, I have the same issue. I purchased my board with the toolchanger. Did Filastruder replace it or what did you find out?

Similar issue here except its for both my Tool 03 and Tool 02. Wasn't able to drive with Fan Ports P3, P4, P5, or P7. Very Curious still wanting to troubleshoot a bit more before asking to RMA.

Hi guys. Sorry for the slow response.

I replaced the Duex5 and the problem went away. My printer stopped being able to home C as well so I just pulled the trigger on another Duex5. It's strange that we're all having similar issues.

update: turns out my issue was just with my understanding.
I didn't recognize the syntax for thermostat mode on the hotend fan.
Moral of my story, to check the fans let the hotend heat up to the 70-80 degrees before you think you have a problem.
Thermostat mode doesn't not mean they cut on in tandem with the heater. For the sintax look for below in config.g

    M106 P1 S255 H1 T70 ; T0 HE

I am adjusting my T70 to T50 to get them to cut on earlier so I don't worry about it any more.
