So during the livestream where the 3D Benchy and the nautilus style overhang test was printed, there was a circular fan air guide mounted to the nozzle so the air can cool down the filament from all directions. The design far from final back then, so changes are expected. Recent pictures posted by Sanjay of the dual printhead show only traditional blowers. Is an omnidirectional cooling solution still on the table or are the more recent pictures final? The print quality of the glowing frog is brilliant no doubt, was that made with the dual printhead as pictured with the simple blower fans?
We're shipping with a small radial blower fan that puts out a lot of air, the duct type used is not an annular type that surrounds the nozzle, but a simple duct pointed at the print area. We find this works very well, in fact better than the previous annular duct designs we played with. There is an interesting and informative analysis of this available here: http://www.desiquintans.com/coolingtests
