I have an Ultimaker 2 with a Titan extruder and Volcano hot end and PT100 sensor and Tinkergnome firmware.

When I try a PID autotune at 150c and 5 cycles, I get a 'temperature too hot' error in the warm up stages.
Yet when I manually set the temperature to the same value it goes beyond the target by 30c BUT it then cools back to the set temperature and hovers within 4 degrees either side.
Obviously I would like the printer set properly, can you suggest PID settings to try or is there something I'm missing?

    Regards
    Graeme

The problem you may have on this forum is that (initially at least) people have Rumba or Duet controllers, and it may be the way your "Tinkergnome" firmware works. Unless of course it is a clone of another controller?
