I'm looking for suggestions on tools and fixins to help my build go smoothly. So far I have all tools necessary to get started. All and every hex wrench, thread locker(blue) , multimeter, kickass grease, tons of screw trays and organizers, and coffee... lots of coffeeeeee. I've been reading up on a lot of suggestions as well as trial and error follies. A big thank you to all that pioneered the build process so that those of use who are paying attention don't have to travel down Frustration blvd. I was thinking extra M2, M3, and M4 bolts of various sizes, more than what I already have. Also, it appears that washers could displace force more evenly along the frame to help prevent cracking. I also have an order in for various nylon spacers. Any more suggestions?
Did you check the part lists here: http://wiki.e3d-online.com/wiki/BigBox_Pre-Build (under Community Generated)? The only thing I have found missing from the official list thus far - superglue for the nut traps (aka nightmares).
To grease the rods, I found that Kluber Iso Flex Grease Topas Nb52, works great (I had to use it on my little prusa until the bigbox comes). It is a little pricey but it is what we use at work on the woodworking CNC machines.
