Hello, I hope that I'm posting this in right section... I have problems printing with polycarbonate filament. using e3d-v6 bowden, 3mm, 0.4 mm here is what happens: https://propellered.com/images/image16.jpg that's printing with vase option turned on and 0.1mm layer, but same happens with 0.2 and 0.3 layer, every time I tried to print... it's like there is some other plastic in filament, and every now and then it blobs out huge drop of liquid plastic and ruins a print... any ideas? thx
I tried every temperature from 260 to 280 C!! Edit: tried even at 250C, and after one hour same, big blob of liquid plastic that is fragile, and has lower melting temperature. I'm out of clues...
I think that that could be a case, but I wan't to test every other possibility before... I tried, in owen on 90C for 2 hours, same... only difference is that small bubbles are gone, but I don't have problems with steam bubbles, it's something else...
I have used that PC with great succes, but i was printing at 295C. I might be wrong but in my experience the low flowrate of the small layer printing doesn´t help you either. As i recall most of my printing was done at .25 or .3.
