Upon replacing a faulty sensor, the tiny grub screw holding it in place disappeared into the ether. I am at a loss as to figuring out how big these are as I looked on all the E3D webpage and the BB directions and there is no mention of how large this part is. Can someone help? Thanks in advance.
Hi Mike, It's an M3, you might find you have a spare one that will work in the same bag the hobgoblins come in for the extruder.
Thanks Greg. I looked through my spare parts and no luck. I'll order a few (100+ heh) to be sure I don't run into this problem again. By my recollection this is about 2mm in length. Is that correct?
Thanks Greg. I managed to break away and take a trip to the local hobby shop. I found a set of M3 grub screws that were 4 mm in length that worked fine (don't know where I got the impression 2 mm was a proper length). So I am back on track again. Big thanks goes to the support group that were so quick to send out a replacement sensor.
