At least, there is some order visible now, sort of priority list without dates and times yet. I saw that mine carries number 153. When will you start throwing the boxes down your stairways then @ E3D? And how many / day or week will you manage?
Not sure that number means anything, since mine is "1029338" which would be great if @E3D had sold that many, but that would likely exceed all the 3D printers ever made... Also, if mine could be carried down the stairs, that would be awesome...
@Henry feldman , kickstarter supporters can view their profile and see their sequential supporter number. In my case its like 492 out of 464 or something like that. Yes, you read that correctly.
Because they must really want to get the boxes out of there, I reckon they must be waiting / have been waiting for some key component (not the motors!). After that every time a set of 3D printed parts rolls of a printer, they'll go straight into a box, completing it, and it will go out the door.
Number 194 here! I think I might have messed up my position as I changed from the big box dual to the big box dual "works". At least not as bad as yours Chris!
Backer #6 here, if you log in to Kickstarter, click the icon in the top right, select backed projects, and then find Bigbox in your completed projects you can click on it. Once clicked, it pulls up a page of information, scroll to bottom and your backer number is right there. If you are logged in the link for backed projects is https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/backings
do remember not all backers actually ordered a kit, some only ordered the files etc. but still, i have already accepted mine will not get here until at least after christmas
there may also be preorders in addition to backers. I wonder how they're sorted. Is it by backer number or the order the surveys were filled out to create the order.
I'm sure they mentioned in one of the videos it will be by backer number where possible, but it may be a batch of white duals or whatever going out at once so won't be 100% to backer number. Hopefully the delivery window is only a few weeks so we all get them within a few weeks
I'm pretty certain they will send out backers 1-125 first and then the rest will be sent out in reverse alphabetical order of your legal Christian name. Therefore I'm not expecting to get mine (#126) until March 2018 and then in monthly instalments.
This morning half awake on my train journey I was thinking about the logistic to ship all the printer. Than I naively imagine e3d showing up at the post office with like 400 printers. Later after a coffee all this cleared up
At least all the kinks will be worked out by our deliveries, I am batch 2 as well, by only 14 numbers as well but I will live, it's very close to the estimated time line compared to other kickstarters!
This is one of the instances were early backing has paid off big time. Also, I'm very impressed by how closely they managed to stay true to their KS timeline. That is a rare thing on KS indeed.
