Is there a quicker way after loading firmware, to set the e-steps? It's pretty painful to spin the knob hundreds of times...
Use S3D to connect to your printer and use the M92 command http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M92:_Set_axis_steps_per_unit
Use the firmware plugin and simply change the vales and compile it with correction. Only take 60-70 seconds on thePI,, https://forum.e3d-online.com/index.php?threads/bigbox-firmware-plugin.1891/
Oh shucks, just remove the knob, hook the shaft to a drill, and run it at about 600 rpm for about 2 minutes. Don't forget to save when you're done.
Or put it in the starting script in S3D so you can tweak it whenever you need to, nicely commented to remind you what the hell it does.
