    That second video is gutsy as it is a direct violation of the Stratasys patent. Not sure where the video creator is or if that Stratasys patent is international. Interesting stuff!

    How does te patent work? Anyone can make their own stuff potentially violating a patent but would it be "illegal"? Making and selling stuff violating a patent is of course something else.

    Creating your own stuff is illegal if it violates a patent (what is in the video definitely does). Resale is not needed in order for it to be illegal.

    Rather unlikely anything will come of it, though.
