From my other post you saw I had the dreaded MAXTEMP.
I ordered and received replacement cartridge thermisters from Filastruder.com.
They are shorter and must have a different resistance. What values or other changes do I need to make in Marlin firmware?

drats. now I need to modify any new firmware going in.

Did you get the new cartridge NTC thermistor?
If that is the case then you need to select the Semitec 100K thermistor in the firmware and you also need to wire the thermistor directly to the rumba and not to the pt100 amp.

And you reduce the max temp of the hotend from 400c to 300c.

I would have returned it and asked for a pt100 cartridge.

yea, i emailed Tim at Filastruder (and he got right back to me!) The three items I got are the short wire thermisters. He says I would need the longer wired PT100 Sensors (they look nearly the same except for the length of the wire). I wish I knew that before. I cant return one of the three as I cut the molex off the end.
