Is that a bit of overkill? Seriously though, I just drilled a 3mm hole above the reset switch, then cut a short length of 3mm filament to touch the switch and protrude through the front panel; it is held in place underneath by a small O-ring that's a tight fit on the filament. On the top, to prevent accidental operation, I have a small collar around the protruding filament so that it is level with the collar such that reset can be achieved with a firm press. I'll post a picture later.
It would be if I didn't have a few sitting around as before I did the X-Controller upgrade you had to manually add E-stop switches which now are built in... The nice thing is that they have a reasonably high activation pressure so you aren't going to accidentally push it, but at the same time it can take a beating.
Thanks @Chase.Wichert it's a perfect fit (and works really well). I'm so glad I don't have to use the power switch at the back as a "kill switch" any more.
