    Hi,

    I just wired my second extruder fan to the unused HE2 output on RUMBA.

    In firmware I changed:
    Code:
    //#define EXTRUDER_1_AUTO_FAN_PIN 8
    #define EXTRUDER_1_AUTO_FAN_PIN 6 // Strips: Changed E1 fan to HE2 on RUMBA for separate control of extruder fans
    Works nice. Now I do not have to listen to both fans when I only use one extruder.

    Tried to lower the max speed of 255 to 192 but the fans refused to fire up.

    Funny thing is the extruder fan not in use kicks in and out after a while printing at 245degC. Heat radiation makes it hotter than 40degC and off it goes!

    You can adjust the 40 degrees using the following

    Code:
    #define EXTRUDER_AUTO_FAN_TEMPERATURE 50

    In Configuration_adv.h

    You should be safe to at least 60°... You have to consider in which material your hotends are mounted... Take the glass transition temp of the material, reduce it by 10°, that would I do if I would want to max it...
