Your prices are misleading! They DONT include VAT... Only time you notice is when you look at your cart! Im guessing that most customers wont be businesses or even VAT registered therefore are being mislead by your pricing! Can't find anywhere on your site that says VAT included on prices or not. It just screams dodgyness. (I know you aren't and are a very reputable company!) Just isnt very professional and kind of peeved me off a little trying to compare pricing and such. A little site review maybe in order! An option to turn on VAT pricing is one way to do this.
Re: Misleading pricing. Hey Callum, I understand exactly where you are coming from, and it has been mentioned to us before. You are correct, most of our EU customers are not VAT registered - however we are a global business and a great deal of our products outside the EU and so showing VAT could be confusing to those customers who don't understand why they have to pay this mysterious tax until they enter their shipping details. When we next do site upgrades, I will look into adding a "Show VAT" button, or maybe checking customer IP's and showing TAX only when applicable.
I Just got punked also on the price. Did not notice that the tax was not included until payment already was done (paypal).. I have never ordered anything before that did NOT include VAT. So surprised when i had 150sek less on my account. And there are no real info about it either until very late in the order. But.. i want the hotend so....
Hi AndersE, Thanks for your post - sorry about the confusion! I have updated our site so that it shows price including VAT for those of us in the EU.. Hope this reduces any confusion!
