    Hi.
Just assembled my tool changer and trying to set up S3D to work properly with it. Seems to be OK but I cannot get the part cooling fan to start via the profile.

Gcode contains M126 and M127 which aren't supported by reprap? I also can't see how to modify S3D settings to avoid using M126 etc.

Has anyone managed to solve this issue or got any ideas please.

    Thanks

I had the same problem and am still going through all the different guides I can find to get the thing printing properly. My previous machine was based on Makerbot/Sailfish so I had S3D set up for that. To change it to use RepRap you need to go to Tools -> Firmware Configuration and select the RepRap firmware profile. When selected if you check the FFF tab you should see PCF control using M106.

I was also experiencing massive over extrusion but have realised that I have not changed the extruder steps/mm for the Hemera so I am now going through all the firmware setting to make sure I don't bugger anything up.

    Hope this helps

    Simon.

A slight correction, although you need to change the firmware setting you also need to ensure the tools are set in the start script. If you look at the latest René Jurack video he explains it way better than I could and that is where I found the error of my ways.
