ok going to prepare, then move axis, move 1mm,
Now if I pick x I move +oo8.0 when I rotate it back to zero I have no movement back.

If I do the same thing to z it works moves and moves back.

Do I have a bad cable????
    Or card.

Well I flipped x for y and it's still in the X not the cables. Got to be a setting in the card or a bad rumba.

Does the "Auto home" work? Have you done this before trying the move axis?

Another thought - have you checked the end stop is in the correct position on the rumba?

I found two wire reversed on one of my stepper motor cables, at the RUMBA connector end, black and green reversed, simple fix though.
