So I have e3d's soluble support on my BigBox Dual and I am wasting a lot when trying to get it to stick on top of Edge material. Has anyone got the right settings/temperatures that cause it to actually print on top?

    Thanks
    Jamie

    So having used
    • Print Temperature - 215°C
    • Bed Temperature - From 20°C to 55C ideally, but will cope with bed temperatures as high as 110°C
    • Print Speed - ~50mm/s
    • Support Infill - ~15%
    • Support Angle - 45° & -45° (create a crosshatch pattern)
    • Dense Solid Layers - 3
    • Dense Solid Infill - 90%
    • Upper & Lower Separation Layers - 0
From the http://e3d-online.com/Scaffold-Support-Material site it seems to be working. I would delete this post but can't, it may help someone else too.

I think the key bit was Upper & Lower seperation

    Regards
    Jamie
