Hi, I use Tapatalk to have one app to rule all my forums. I use my phone 70-90% of the time and Tapatalk gives me a quick way to access all my forums. I know I would frequent this forum a lot more with Tapatalk and probably many others. It's just so much simpler posting photos and logging a build. Regards Stian
I looked into it a bit and I'm not sold on it yet. I could see what the benefits are but it also removes a lot of the User experience control we have. Especially since it has no support for the shoutbox I don't think it does a good job of creating a tight knit community. If more people request it we can consider it, but while the community is growing I think Safari does a well enough job
Other forums I've been involved with have removed TapaTalk due to security concerns, bugs and other issues. I would consider it a negative step to add that here.
All I know is that the forums I keep visiting over the years are the ones with Tapatalk. It's more like the forum comes to me instead of me having to visit the forums. But if I'm the only one using it here I can understand not wanting to install it
I just noticed on my last forum that people tended to post on incorrect forums. Most likely because they just click through the subforums till it gives them the post option. Makes for a mess that's annoying to deal with. The UI is interesting but it doesn't offer the flexibility we're after
