I tested this with SLS Printed Parts and machined Parts. The machined part is stiffer, so it can print a little bit faster.

You had those parts machined yourself I take it?

    Amazing!

I've not even had machned ones, I have SLA parts. Great to see them as intended :)

It has all the parts, excluding printed parts, needed to fit a Hemera to the Toolchanger. They are almost identical to the bowden as we use the same tool mounting hardware. It is intended to be used by people who have not bought a V6 before, or do not want to disassemble their V6 tool to add a Hemera. When Hemera is back in stock we will do a full Hemera tool kit, excluding printed parts of course.

Is the center part that takes the tool just press fit into the aluminum plate?

    Frostie2k,

It looks like you replaced the acrylic plates with metal on your system as well. I have been considering doing that as my acrylic has started to show signs of cracking. Scheming for the time when I completely convert to direct drive to go ahead and replace the sheets with 5mm aluminum. How has it been fairing for you?
I think I am going to put a opening for a clear window on the side when I finish my redesign. Was curious if you had any thoughts on what more you would consider changing?

I spent a good bit of time after that message checking a few other posts and found a few more related posts. Have to say it's some awesome work.

Yes, i milled it by myself.

My Toolchanger is made complete by myself. I never had acrylic plates on mine, the aluminum plates are milled according to the drawings by Greg Holloway. Thanks Greg for the great design. I changed the bottom plate to a 10mm thick plate that adds stiffnes to the whole system, especially if the tool changer is on an uneven surface.

Is there an instruction manual for the kit?

Nope, I haven't written it yet.... It is pretty simple to assembly though. I shall try and get it done shortly, I have photographed the process just need to do it!

I'm not sure whether they are completely up to date, but the Thingiverse page with the print STLs also has a zip file with assembly photos in it.
