What is the thickness of the top/bottom plate?
Yeah... I get that... and I've loaded and already modified the DXF in the manner I like --- but whatever tool I'm using doesn't "see" thickness to the DXFs ... I assume they don't have thickness...
Does this mean that nothing but getting a copy of solidworks to determine this? (sigh)...
Sorry for replying to myself. OMG is solid works expensive. Sure it's probably worth it, but wow.
Is there any other way to present those files? I suppose a demo version of solid works might (or might not) be willing to export the files. Sigh.
DXF is 2D. You can use Fusion 360, it's free. The thickness is on the drawing, what is it that needs to 'see' the thickness?
I suppose it's just "me" ... for when I order someone to cut the new sheet metal.
