Use a long (12" ish) cable tie as a pull through. And ignore the three steps to pull wires through, do them all together....but after you have removed the connector and stripped the fan wires, and there isn't much to get hold of after they are under the PCB.

I had initially used tape to fasten the wires to the cable clip, which is messy and difficult to remove, especially in the restricted space.

An alternative method using a long cable clip is to wrap an elastic band round the stem of the clip just behind the square (gripper) end, then push the wires to be threaded under the Rumba through the elastic band, maybe with an extra turn of elastic round and over the square end. This holds the wires quite firmly and is a breeze to remove. The square end stops the elastic from slipping off.
