I've just upgraded my Prusa DIY clone with a Titan AERO and I thought I would be able to print flexible filaments, I had bought some "FlexiSMART" filament from Amazon some time ago but I couldn't get it to print no matter what I did. After fitting the Titan AERO I thought I would be OK but it still will not extrude it always finds a way out of the hobbed gear and just curls up inside the extruber mech. I found out that the hardness of the filament is 88A where most flexible filaments are 98A, is this filament just to soft to print? Anyone printing this type of filament with a Titan AERO? Cheers.
This is quite soft. Try this neat hack and see if it improves things https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2600963
Thanks, I eventually got it printing by slowly extruding the filament at 230 C until I had got rid of all the previous filament (PETG) and as long as I print at a low speed it seems to print OK now.
