I have just completed the tool head build and I tried manually moving it into each of the docked tools. All seem fine and the shaft goes right in for all but 1. On 1 tool the shaft rubs against to top of the hole in the tool plate. Should I slightly raise the dock with a shim?

    nope.

Check the tool is sitting correctly on the dock and the wires are not moving it out of position.

Sorry, but the only way to ensure that 1 of my docks was at the correct height was to shim it with a thin film. It was the only way I could get the Tbar to go through the t hole without touching. Only thing I can think of is one of 3 parts was not within what are very tight tolerances. The dock, the black rectangle that slides into the dock... or possibly the toolplate.

Interesting, we've not seen this on any other the other production machines. If anyone else has a similar issue please post here :)
