If you upload two photos of the HotEnd; one from the side showing the fins and heater block and one from the top showing down the filament path then we will be able to tell you what it is! :)

So only a expert E3D identifier can ID the version of hotend?
There are NO indicators for simple folk to use to ID an E3D hotend?

    In a nutshell:
    Thick Fins = v4
    Thin fins = v5 or v4.1
The difference between the v4.1 and the v5 is subtle as there was a bit of a dynamic transition between the two. The actual differences between v4.1 and v5 are small enough to essentially be negligible for all practical purposes.
