Right now I print mainly in ABS and my other printers all are enclosed and I know that helps a lot when printing ABS. I know the Big Box does not have a door or top and wondering if that will be any concern with ABS? My room is pretty drafty as I run a ceiling fan so I don't die in here with 4 printers running all the time and would be concerned about drafts with the Big Box. Hopefully they offer an option at some point for fully enclosed
Why not just print some brackets and put a cover on it? Isn't that the reason we have 3d printers so we can make what we need?
The cutouts for the side panels are included. So you just need to print fixings to attach them. Not sure what you can do with the top. That said I have been printing ABS on my k8200 in a shed and that's an open frame printer
If you watch any of the YouTube series by James Brunton he prints ABS on a Taz with no enclosure and seems to do pretty well.
