Hi there. I was wondering if one could use the same diameter silicone tubing instead of the nylon one for the heatsink cooling. The reason for that being that I already have an after-market water-cooled V6 with a 2/4 mm silicone tube running to it. I guess I could find/make and adapter if I absolutely had to, but it'd be so much easier with just the silicone tubing.
The adaptor is included in the watercooling kit and will be available online shortly as a product to buy on its own.
Yeah, but it's for the 5mm ID tubing. I'm currently running 2ID/4OD mm silicone tubing which wouldn't fit on that adapter. But it's the same size as the supplied nylon tube, thus the whole question.
This silicone tube will probably not seal properly in the embedded couplings, as these are designed for rigid tubing.
