Hello folks. I guess I'm not the first one which asks this question and I guess even I asked it before. But I'm wondering, what firmware I should choose right now. I know, there are several different versions available but I don't know, which I should choose and where I do get them from. I'm looking for a firmware which: - is (more or less) stable - can handle my BigBox Pro Single (Titan head) - does support bed mesh leveling Is the current version of the official Merlin firmware a good option right now? Does it support Mesh bed leveling? Thanks for your help!
It seems we both need the same thing. After much headscratching & searching through these threads, I believe this: https://jenkins.alitecs.de/job/BigBox_Geek/ is what we're after. Good luck!
I'm running RC6 Titan hybrid dual with mesh bed leveling and these changes I have no issues so far, so I did not see any reason to upgrade to RC7 or RC8 yet. here are the official Hex files https://github.com/BigBox3D/Firmware here are the official RC6 sources https://github.com/BigBox3D/Marlin/tree/Hybrid-Pro Or try Alex's hexx file as Hans linked.
The trouble with the 'official' .hex files is that for some reason the Single Hybrid Pro firmware doesn't have mesh bed levelling, while the Dual firmware does.
Thanks Hans, that's exactly what I was looking for. I did flash yesterday and so far, all seems to work fine, except the Y-position after auto-homing, which I believe I read about in this forums as well. The nozzle is pushed into the glass but that's another issue to solve separately.
