This is a work in progress, building an OpenRC F1 car. Printed on the BigBox of course. I will update this thread as I go. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1193309 Filament is E3D Everyday, printed at 0.2mm layer height with 0.4mm nozzle. Part 1 - Front Wing: Part 2 - Front Nose:
The next part to print was the forward section. The eagle-eyed amongst you may notice that the extrusion isn't quite right, therefore I've calibrated better and we're underway again with the next section:
Main body printed. I've got some banding on this part and I'm not sure why when my calibration cube came out okay. Need to look into the cause.
This is the back part of the body. There is one more red piece (the lid) and then it is onto all of the black parts (the remainder).
Yes. However, the first two red parts had no lines, the new ones do. I've just replaced a bad bearing and I think over extrusion might cause the above so it is possible to get 100% spanking prints!
what layer height are you using and which filament, sorry if that's already been asked scratch that ... 0.2mm height, 0.4 nozzle, everyday PLA
