I was giving you extra credit, that these were "wrinkle-wall" drag tires instead, because your motors were so powerful that you'd need the wrinkle wall expansion!

That is a Huge motor for such a small car, you are going to be doing burnouts left and right haha

So I'm trying to find a suitable push rod for the steering still. In the meantime.... MORE TYRES!

This time, the slim ones. I will print some new rims for these once I am back on PLA:

While I like the looks of the F1 car, I will probably do the Truggy for the off-road and 4 wheel drive. It would be a nice project for my son's and I ;) . Of course with the metal drive line for the robustness.

Yes the 4x4 may be next up, definitely better suited to my garden!

Any idea how well the ninja flex tires will hold up? Are the rims standard where you could buy off the self tires if the printed ones shread?

I don't know how well. NinjaFlex seems fairly durable, I've done them with 4 top and bottom layers (the outer and inner walls) and 3 perimeters. I've also printed some slimline ones. The wheels aren't a standard size but I think someone has created adapters so you can do as you say.

Nice, I would like to do this at some point but figure It would have to be a truggy probably, guessing the f1 is indoor only? What kind of clearance does it have?
