Wrong thickness sheet of Perspex?

    So was assembling the dump bucket and couldn't get one side into either the bracket or the dump bucket. Tried switching sides and it sure seemed thicker than the other. So grabbed some calipers. Yep, they are different thickness of Perspex! @Greg Holloway you guys may want to check if any other sheets are the wrong thickness? Some quick sanding brought it down to the right thickness to insert the part...

    @Henry feldman That's the variation in the tolerance of the acrylic sheet. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that. I will widen the slots in the wiper a little though.

    Wow, 0.5mm variance? That's useful to know once I get my Laser cutter!

    Cast acrylic has a +/-10% thickness variation. Extruded acrylic has tighter tolerances, but significantly higher tendency to crack.

    Just printed new Ooze bucket and wiper parts for the dual upgrade and even some sanding I'm struggling to get the holes aligned cause of the difference in thickness of the acrylic parts.

    I actually filed rather than sanding, as the file was easier to keep square.
