    Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to have the y-axis motor belt set?

    I've encountered 2 possibilities, according to how the angle of the motor is adjusted:

    1) the motor is horizontal to the point that the belt wanders a bit to the left and the right as the cog turns;

    2) the motor is a bit lower at the back end such that the tip of the spindle is a bit higher: it's not visible but it means that the belt is constantly at the far end of the gear wheel and doesn't wander at all;

    Ideally the belt should have a bit of 'wander', it will reduce the wear and tear of the belt.

    Cool.

    Thanks @Rob Heinzonly, that's just the answer I was looking for.
