IN DEVELOPMENT z-axis ball screws

    The switch will take a few days, I have to drill the holes, make a new spacer for the bed carriage (current one is too small and the mounting holes are right on top of the original one). Hopefully I won't have to take the bottom off the BigBox to get the other motors installed.

    Sorry if I haven't ben clear enough on that part. Even if you could find som 804 ballscrews the ball nut would still be larger than the original, so it will probably never be a drop ind solution, but still pretty easy.

    Be very carefull with alignment wen you install both the motor and nut, use the z-axis as reference before tightening anything up.

    Took me this long to notice those are differnt steppers lol, where did you get them also robodigg? Have a part number?

    Resurrecting an old thread as I've finally got the time to fit the parts I bought many years ago. Does anyone have any photos of an upgraded BigBox before I start chopping up my bed!
